How to type Om in Hindi on Windows 10

I was not able to type in Hindi Om character by reading tutorials on internet about Unicode.

Many places it mentioned the code is U+0950 but you need to enable HexNumPad for your keys on side paenl below num lock to work to be able to type in Unicode this information is missing from many places on internet.

Here is a link to blog from where I could understand this

You need to enable HexNumpad then typing in unicode will work https://www.fileformat.info/tip/microsoft/enter_unicode.htm after reading above link I had to add an entry in registry HKEY_Current_User/Control Panel/Input Method EnableHexNumpad and set the string value to 1 type to REG_SZ then a reboot it worked like a charm.
Got above link by below

Now I am able to type ॐ in notepad and word pad also.

You can try searching a few videos on youtube about the same if you are not clear about this. How to add language methods specifically to type in Hindi will be covered in another post.

if it does not work just open a notepad and from the numpad Alt+ (+) then 0950 you should get ॐ

Also check this language pack is installed or not on Windows 10.

Install Hindi language pack for office 64 bit
